Step 1.       On the Home Page, in the “Find a Tradie” box, type in your postcode.

Step 2.       Type in your required trade or service - our intelligent search field will help you find exactly the service you need.

 

OzTradie will list all the available trades and services in your area and display their contact details and website where applicable.

 

Step 3.       Choose your Tradie and give them a call, or;

 

Step 4.       Use OzTradie’s SMS service to automatically generate a job or quote request and send it out to job-ready Tradies directly in your area!

 

OzTradie is a totally free service to use and will keep your information private. If you choose to Post a Job, you will be asked to provide a contact name, contact phone number, email address and the suburb of where the job is located. You will also be asked to create a 6 character password. This User Registration will enable you to handpick and save your favourite Tradies and track/change the status of your job.

 

You will be directed to the Job details page where you can input a brief description of the job or quote required, timeframe and budget (optional).

 

Once this has been completed, an email is sent with quick links that ask you to confirm the job request and also enables you to edit the job details, cancel the job or mark the job as accepted or complete. Once email confirmed, this can also be managed from the Jobs page.

Upon confirmation of the SMS job request, relevant Tradies servicing your area will receive an SMS message containing your first name, phone contact number, the job details entered and the suburb of where the job is required. Under no circumstances will OzTradie supply your actual address or last name.

 

The SMS service is a great way to avoid ringing around for Tradies only to be sent to an answering service or told that they are booked out.

With the SMS service, you can be sure that the only Tradies you talk to are the ones in your area and ready to work!

 

The first time you fill in the Submit a Job details, you will be asked to create a password. This password allows you to view and edit your job status and quickly log in for all future job requests.

 

One of the great features of OzTradie.com.au is the ability for you to view the recommendations of Tradies’ previous customers and leave your own at the end of the job.
